4tbsps.sour cream
50gcheese, semi-hard
1-2cloves of garlic

Instructions
Slice peeled potatoes with a knife or you can even use the mandoline slicer to get the thinnest slices. Put them into a deep bowl, season with salt and pepper, mix to cover all the slices evenly.
In a blender cup, combine sour cream, pressed garlic, salt, pepper, and grated cheese.
Blend all the ingredients into a smooth mixture using the lowest power.
Preheat oven at 425ºF/220°C.
Take a baking dish and smear it with butter. Layout the first layer of potato slices. You will need half of the amount, as there will be only two layers of potato.
Pour half of the sauce over the first layer of potatoes. Make sure to coat potatoes evenly.
Next, spread out slices of onion over the first layer of potato slices.
Repeat the layer of potato slices and then finish with the rest of the sauce. Sprinkle dried basil over the top to add some extra delicious flavor.
Bake gratin for 45 minutes or until potatoes are easily pierced with a knife. Depending on the thickness of slices and even the variety of bought potatoes it can take you up to one hour to get potato cooked through. Here is a tip: bake scalloped potatoes covered with foil for the first 30 minutes, then remove it and continue baking until potatoes become tender.
Before serving, make sure to let it cool down a bit to prevent burning. Enjoy your meal!
