5whole black peppercorns
salt and freshly ground black pepper to your taste
Cut into small cubes pork loin.
Peel onion and chop it into small pieces.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Add pork into the skillet and fry it for 5 minutes. Keep stirring meat cubes until each side is fried.
Lower the heat to medium, add chopped onion and black peppercorns. Cook for additional 5 minutes.
Sprinkle a tablespoon of flour over the meat and stir until every piece of pork will be covered in it.
Add tomato paste; stir it in.
Add 2 cups of hot boiled water (or you can even use vegetable broth). Stir the mixture until tomato paste fully dissolves in liquid. Add bay leaves.
Wait until water boils in the skillet and then lower the heat again to minimum. Cover skillet with a lid and let the stew simmer for 30 minutes. Season tomato sauce to your liking. Add necessary amount of salt and freshly ground black pepper. There is a slight possibility that sauce can burn to the skillet. To prevent it from happening, stir goulash occasionally.
Take the skillet from heat and leave it aside for about 10 minutes to rest before serving!
