1tsp.unsalted butter
raisins, fruits, berries and jam of your choice (optional)
Instructions
Pour water into a pot and let it boil. We add water to the pot to prevent porridge from burning/sticking. It should be not more than 2-3 tablespoons (two more ways can help you with this problem, to learn them scroll the recipe to the end of the page).
When the water boils, pour the whole amount of milk into the pot. Add sugar and salt. Boil milk but, bear in mind, that you should constantly stir milk with a spatula. Do not leave milk out of your sight!
If you have milk boiling on high heat, lower it down. Add semolina slowly to the pot while constantly and rapidly stirring.
Keep cooking semolina for 5 minutes straight, continuously stirring porridge in the pot.
Do not worry if the porridge is still a bit watery. It will start thickening as it cools down.
Take the pot from the heat and add butter.
Cover porridge with a lid and let it rest, at least, for 10 minutes before serving. Even now, I stir it from time to time to prevent the forming of the crust on the top of the porridge.
Serve with your favorite type of fruit, berries, and jam! Enjoy your breakfast!
