400gchicken fillet
1egg
100gbreadcrumbs
20gpotato chips
100gall-purpose flour
100mloil
salt and pepper (to your taste)
Instructions
Take a chicken fillet and rinse them carefully under cold running water. After patting them with paper towels until dry, cut into somewhat thin stripes (no more than one сcentimeter wide). However, of course you can cut them into any shape you want.
Shred potato chips using a food processor (I make sure that the pieces are not tiny). You can also take a zipper bag, place chips inside of it and using something heavy to crush into small crumbs.
Combine shredded potato chips with breadcrumbs, mix. Set the plate aside.
Take a flat plate for all-purpose flour. Season it with salt and freshly ground black pepper (I also like to add garlic powder but, unfortunately, I ran out of it). Take every strip of chicken fillet and coat it in this mix.
Let`s prepare an egg mixture: take a deep bowl, beat in an egg and nicely whisk it.
Now is the time to dip our chicken pieces in prepared mixtures. First, dip a chicken strip in the egg one and then transfer it to the plate with chips and breadcrumbs mixture. Thoroughly press crumbs into the strips to cover all the sides.
Place all the strips on a clean cutting board.
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil over medium to high heat. Place chicken strips in the skillet; make sure not to overcrowd it and pour enough oil to cook through chicken nuggets. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
After cooking nuggets in the skillet, place them on a paper towel to drain for them to absorb all the excess oil. Serve still warm with your favorite type of sauce. Bon appetite!
