Thoroughly rinse chicken legs under running water and pat them dry with paper towels until dry. Place them in a deep bowl.
In a separate bowl, stir together mayo with mustard until you get a smooth sauce for the chicken marinade.
Sprinkle salt and black pepper over chicken legs, pour the marinade, and toss them with your hands until fully covered with sauce. Leave them in the fridge to marinate for 1-2 hours; do not forget to cover them with plastic wrap. Besides, you can even leave it in the fridge overnight.
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
Transfer chicken legs covered in marinade onto the baking dish rimmed with foil.
Wrap up the foil and place the baking pan in the center of the oven.
First, bake chicken drumsticks for 50 minutes covered. Then take the pan out of the stove and open the foil. Bake chicken legs for 10 minutes on one side and 10 minutes on the other or until skin turns golden and crispy.
