  • Rinse the catfish steak well under running water; pat it dry with paper towels, and place it in a large bowl. Squeeze ½ lemon into a bowl and add salt pepper to taste. Make sure to cover both sides of a fish steak in marinade. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
