The recipe so simple and easy that you can make it with your children or little cousins. Make it a fun game, choose the sahpe you want, as you have plenty of options: a star, snowman, tree or any type of an animal.

  • 250 g all-purpose flour;
  • 1 egg;
  • 100 unsalted butter;
  • 100 g powdered sugar;
  • 2 tsp. ground ginger;
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon;
  • ½ tsp. ground cardamom;
  • ½ tsp. ground cloves;
  • ½ tsp. ground allspice;
  • 1 tsp. cocoa powder;
  • 1 tsp. honey;
  • ½ tsp. baking soda;
  • a pinch of salt.

How to make gingerbread cookies without molasses:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all the spices, baking soda and cocoa powder.
