Pasta with shrimps in a tender creamy sauce is one of the most popular pasta recipes, for sure. With its easy-to-make recipe, exquisite taste, and mouth-watering aroma, it won`t leave you indifferent. In the recipe, you first cook shrimps in the skillet, then add those few ingredients that I have in the list – butter and leek – let them cook for a bit together with shrimps, pour half-half. When the sauce thickens, it is time to add boiled pasta.

Easy Shrimp Pasta Recipe

There is one thing I must confess to you. I still do not consider myself a professional cook, so to speak. I find it difficult to cook several things on the stove at the same time. So, I prefer to cook the pasta first and leave it in a colander. Only after that do I start making the sauce. I hope that one day it will be easy for me to mingle the two things at once.

Add butter and sliced leek

Pour half and half

  • Add salt and freshly ground black pepper. Sauté the mixture for additional several minutes by constantly stirring until half-and-half thickens.

Cook until the sauce thickens

  • Lower the heat to a minimum and add cooked pasta.
