  • 250 g puff pastry sheets;
  • 1 egg;
  • 10 hot dogs;
  • Sesame seeds.

How to make pigs in a puff pastry blanket:

  • You need to thaw puff pastry sheets before using them. Take the pastry out of the freezer and leave it in the fridge overnight. Sprinkle some flour over the work surface. Place the puff pastry sheet and sprinkle some extra flour over it, too.

  • Roll out the sheet in length with a rolling pin.

  • With a knife cut a thin pastry sheet into long stripes 2-3 centimeters wide.

  • Preheat oven at 350ºF/180°C.
  • Take a baking tray and cover it with parchment paper. Arrange the rolls evenly leaving some space between them.
