I love this recipe, so much. It is perfect to make for any parties, barbecues, picnics, any family gatherings. The recipe is basic and easy to follow at home. You have two main common ingredients that you spice up with the dressing. It is a cost-efficient recipe for such a tasty salad.
It is best when served fresh. Chop the vegetables, add pressed garlic together with mayo, mix and the salad is ready to be devoured. It can be served not only as the side salad but also as the main dish for lunch (but make sure to have a bigger portion) or you even can have it as a filling for your sandwich. It pairs great with crunchy toasted bread.
If you want to make life harder, you always can add more ingredients. Corn, fresh cucumber or red bell pepper, hard-boiled eggs and chopped fresh herbs, some mustard added to the dressing and you have a completely different recipe.

Easy Crab Salad Ingredients:
- 1 package of imitation crab meat, chopped into small pieces;
- 3 tomatoes, diced;
- 2 garlic cloves;
- 3 tbsps. mayo, or to your taste;
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to your taste.
How to make crab salad with tomatoes from scratch:
- Chop or slice crab sticks into small pieces with a knife. I like to have slices of crabsticks in the salad when you still feel the texture and chunk of it.
- Chop tomatoes into desired size of bites. Do not forget to drain all the excess liquid to avoid sogginess in the salad.
- Combine these two chopped ingredients in a deep bowl.
- Press garlic and add mayo to the bowl.
- Mix the salad until smooth and the dressing evenly covers the ingredients. Add seasoning and give it another stir.
- Better served at once, as it does not stay crisp for too long!
