For the best flavor, serve the salad fresh. Start by chopping the vegetables and adding pressed garlic along with mayonnaise. Mix everything together, and your salad will be ready to enjoy. This dish can be served not only as a side salad but also as a main course for lunch—just be sure to have a larger portion. Additionally, it makes a great filling for sandwiches and pairs wonderfully with crunchy toasted bread.

If you want to complicate things, you can always add more ingredients. Corn, fresh cucumber, red bell pepper, hard-boiled eggs, and chopped fresh herbs, along with some mustard in the dressing, will give you a completely different recipe.
