  • 3 eggs;
  • 150 g mushrooms;
  • 50 g onion;
  • 50 g mayonnaise;
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil;
  • Fresh dill;
  • Salt and black pepper to your taste.

How to make deviled eggs with mushrooms and onion at home:

  • Peel the onion and cut it into thin slices. Slice mushrooms into small pieces.

Cut mushrooms and onion

  • Heat oil in the skillet over medium to high heat. First, sauté onion for about 2 minutes until soft and translucent before adding mushrooms to the mix. Keep cooking vegetables for the additional 3 to 5 minutes. When the mixture is ready set it aside to cool down a bit.

  • Carefully separate yolks from whites.

Take out the yolks

  • Smash egg yolks with a fork and combine with sautéed veggies.

Add smashed yolk to the veggie mixture

  • Add freshly ground black pepper, mayo, and if necessary salt. Mix.

Add seasoning

  • Fill the whites with the mixture forming a little heap. Add some leaves of fresh dill or any other herb before serving. Enjoy!
