- Season sour-sweet marinade with salt and freshly ground pepper, thoroughly stir the mixture until smooth.

- Take a turkey leg and clean it under cold running water. But be careful not to splash water everywhere on your kitchen counter as you can transfer germs from the fresh meat. After cleaning the leg, pat it until dry with paper towels.
